Technical Design

  • Design Standards: Our structural design strictly adheres to Chinese National Standards (GB).
  • Site-Specific Load Parameters: Wind loads (<250 km/h), seismic ratings, and snow load requirements are taken into consideration. Precise structural calculations and verifications are performed for various geographical locations.
  • Structural Optimization: By using BIM technology, we ensure precise control over every component. And guarantee seamless integration with crane operations.

Manufacturing Design

  • Precise Component Design: Provide complete and accurate details for each component, including specifications, dimensions, quantities, and technical requirements.
  • Corrosion Protection Standards: Employs a high-performance coating protection system. This includes hot-dip galvanizing or epoxy primers to meet protection requirements for C4/C5 class corrosive environments.

Installation Design

  • Describes the layout and requirements for each component, and generates installation drawings for various stages of the process.

Manufacturing Process

  1. Cutting: By utilizing a CNC automatic multi-head cutting machine, steel plates can be cut into any shape.
  2. Assembling: Automatic assembly machines are used to join steel plates into I-beam structural components.
  3. Welding: Upon completion of assembly, the various components will be transferred to the next stage of processing. Submerged arc welding is employed to join the two steel plate flanges. This process produces welds of high quality and strength, characterized by excellent sealing properties.
  4. Surface cleaning: Shot Blasting for Grade Sa2.5 surface preparation
  5. Painting: Utilizing industrial high-pressure sprayers, and in accordance with the client’s selection, architectural components are sprayed with gray paint, red paint, or other specialized coatings.

Production Equipment

Our processing plant integrates design, production, installation, and after-sales service. We have 6 advanced steel structure production lines, equipped with multiple CNC multi-head cutting machines, intersecting line plasma cutting machines, high-speed three-dimensional drilling machines, automatic submerged arc welding machines, automatic welding robots, hydraulic flange straightening machines, large shot blasting Machines and environmental protection automatic spraying system and other professional equipment. And introduced the current mainstream steel structure 3D3S system, PKPM system, PS2000 software system, and CAD software system, and established a computer CIMS information system and quality inspection center. With an annual processing capacity of more than 100,000 tons, we are at the forefront of China’s prefabricated construction industry by virtue of strong technology and talent advantages.

Crane Support

Given the complexity of steel building components, K-HOME adheres to strict logistics protocols to ensure that every component arrives on-site intact, undamaged, and ready for installation.

  1. Packing Plan Development
    Before packing, our professional team calculates the most efficient loading quantity for each shipping container. This ensures no wasted space and no missing items.
  2. Loading Inspection
    Each package has a detailed list of its contents. Before shipping, we strictly check the quantity, size, and code of every package. This ensures customers receive everything they ordered.
  3. Packing and Securing
    After loading the goods into the container, we weld rail baffles at the back on both sides. This keeps the cargo stable and safe during transport.
  4. Unloading
    Each package comes with a steel cable. After receiving the goods, customers can pull the cable to slide the entire package out of the container. It’s fast, easy, and saves labor.

Our patented loading method allows us to load about 10 containers per day. This saves customers both loading and unloading costs. It also greatly reduces unloading time and labor.

Steel Structure Foundation Treatment

To ensure the stability and safety of your steel structure building, the foundation plan is importance. You may refer to the following steps for foundation preparation:

Step 1: Preparation

Before deciding on a foundation plan, make sure you have the following information:

  • Understand the soil conditions and groundwater levels in your location
  • Understand the size, weight, and usage requirements of the building.
  • Refer to the foundation treatment of similar structures in your location. To draw upon relevant experience.
  • Check the surrounding area for buildings, underground utilities, roads, and other obstacles to avoid any impact on construction.
Step 2: Select a plan

Taking into account factors such as the type of building, geological conditions and the surrounding environment:

  • Propose two or more feasible solutions as a starting point.
  • Compare these plans in terms of reinforcement effectiveness, material costs, construction difficulty, project duration and environmental impact.
  • Select the plan that is technically sound, economically viable and best suited to your project.
Step 3: Validate the Plan
  • Conduct small-scale on-site trials or test installations at the site.
  • Once the plan has been confirmed to meet the required standards, proceed with full-scale implementation to ensure safety and peace of mind.

Steel Structure Construction Process

Foundations (concrete pouring, embedding anchor bolts) → Steel columns → Steel beams (main frame) and crane beams → Bracing system → Purlins (roof purlins, wall purlins) → Roof panels (including insulation and waterproofing) → Wall panels (including insulation) → Doors and windows → Ventilation equipment (skylights, fans,natural ventilators) → Other accessories (downspouts, ladders, maintenance walkways, etc.)

Are you a direct steel structure manufacturer or a trading company?

KHOME is a dedicated steel building manufacturer with our own advanced production facilities in China. All components are shipped from our factory, and our “factory-direct” model offers customers cost savings.

How do you perform structural calculations for specific site environments (Wind, Snow, Seismic)?

Our engineers have over 20 years of professional experience in structural analysis. They perform thorough structural calculations based on the specific environmental parameters provided by clients. Through these calculations and verification, they deliver design solutions that comply with local codes and regulations.

How do you ensure the precision of integrated crane steel buildings?

We specialize in steel-structured buildings designed for integrated cranes. You must tell us this requirement during the design phase. We will coordinate the building’s structural framework with the specifications of the crane beams. By calculating dynamic loads, lifting heights, and rated lifting capacities, we ensure the system operates normally. Most importantly, choosing a single supplier can reduce on-site construction errors. while also ensuring the structural stability.

What are your welding inspection standards? Do you perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT)?

Welding inspection use GB 50205-2001 Standard . Class 1 welds require 100% testing. Class 2 welds require testing of at least 20% of the total length, accompanied by witness inspection.

What are the standards for anti-corrosion treatment?

Sa2.5 shot blasting for rust removal. Paint thickness: 80–100 μm. The zinc coating thickness is generally 40 g/m². We will recommend an coating weight based on the local environment.

How do you manage components to prevent missing items?

We conduct a pre-shipment inspection. All parts are inspected, verified, labeled, and then packed and sorted.

What kind of on-site installation support do you provide?

We provide installation drawings for every process. If on-site guidance is required, we can arrange for an engineer to provide on-site guidance and training. However, you will apply fee.

What is your policy if missing or damaged components are discovered during on-site installation?

First of all, we will never shirk responsibility. We typically offer two solutions:
We will reship the missing or damaged parts.
If time is limited, you may purchase the parts locally, and we will reimburse you for the corresponding costs.
